I was able to teach a family member last week how to refinish some end tables. They turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. When the customer came to pick them up I was a little sad to see them go. I was really starting to love looking at them. It was the same Cotton Blue color I used HERE for my dressers. The customer was saying how they will go with any decor for her new house. I love this new color and think I will be using it a lot in the future :) Didn't get before picutres sorry... just plain old yucky wood brown! I am sure it looked good one day....looong ago! LOVE the claw fee!

Black?!!
This little dresser I see for a child or maybe even for a changing table for a baby. I hadn't worked with much black but I loved the way it turned out. I washed it all with Goo Gone to get all of the stickers off and then primed with a Grey tinted Valspar primer. After a little distressing (I used the block this time instead of the mouse) I glazed and finished with two coats of Poly. I have to say it looks so cute with my pink changing pad on top! :}
Asking $125.00 if you are interested contacts are on the sidebar :)

A new love!
I love to come across a set. Whatever it is I like to see a matching set. End tables, chairs, dressers.... So when I came across this I was instantly in lovvve. I am a huge fan of extreme detail so this was awesome. I was debating getting all 3 for the price it was but I am SOOOO glad I did. I actually am REALLY KEEPING this set. We have small closet so it's prefect. I wasn't quite sure I would keep it until it was finished but I was oh in LOVE! I love this cotton blue color I came across. I have the small one in my bathroom to hold towels and toilet paper. Everyone that comes over I send in there... LOL Like they really care but it's so cute in my room! :)
This is just to show how big of a difference in the detail that distressing makes....
A return to the watermelon pink... LOVING this color.
Apparently too excited for a before pictures. This was also for a repeat client. She bought that so cute little baby armoire and then bought this dresser to match it. Not sure if she was using if for a changing table as well or not. But it's an oh so cute set! I had it set out front a few hours before she got here and got so many compliments on it in that short time period. Everyone loves this color of pink.
Yet again... I love these DRESSERS!
Sorry... I get so excited sometimes to stop and grab my camera for step by step pictures. I do about the same process every time though. This one have a few repairs I should have posted how I did but other than that everything is the same. This was for a repeat customer.... I LOOOVED how the white turned out. Ryan think this was his favorite piece. It was distressed and glazed in a chocolate brown and then sealed with a couple coats of poly. The drawers were also lined for this one.
