Refinished Vintage Chair SOLD

I loved this chair when I saw it... don't mind the before pic's.... yes my garage has been a complete disaster the last month. Currently our Harley and 2 chairs are parked outside so I can stash all 3 spots with furniture.... SWEET! Hubby LOVES this!! :) Yes that would be a Sombrero Hat next to my diet coke turned glazing cup! Apparently we have wild late night parties in the garage while refinishing furniture HAHAHA! Ok.... on with it. I loved this chair. I could see it next to a little vanity or desk. The lines are great and the fabric I used for the Chaise turned out so well I used it again. Bone Dresser SOLD

When I found this dresser I was super excited to get it and start working on it. I love all the detail on the side spindles. It really ended up being a lot of work to glaze but I am so excited with the end result. I think this is my new favorite color. It is like a bone color.... that is how I will explain this one. HA love making up my own names for paints. I am sure it has an actual name but I don't know what it is. It was distressed, glaze and sealed. It is currently still available.  Sometimes I say to myself oh this looks so good it doesn't need to be glazed.... it is good I took a before picture because it is amazing how much glazing adds to a piece. It adds so much depth and I love it!!!

Tall Green Dresser SOLD

Sorry before pics off my phone aren't that great but you get the idea.... it was boring and needed lots of help :) I am in love with this color. Just finished my kitchen table in it and I am so excited to do more of it.  This dresser is super heavy and really has been a pain to finish. I am so excited when repairs and painting are finished so I can get the artsy part going. I love to distress and glaze and add depth. This piece was particularly really awesome to do. Chaise style lounge chair

Can I just say that I am in LOOOVE with this seat! I have always loved this style and when I saw it and that it had good bones I was totally SOLD! I do not love to reupholster things but I knew this would be so awesome I had to. I had the vintage flower and color scheme in my head before I went to the fabric store and I walked right to this piece. It was exactly what I had envisioned. I love how it turned out such a fun piece! I actually got some before and during pics of this one :)

 

Cute little 9 drawer SOLD

Another commissioned piece that I forgot before pics of.... Surprise surprise. The white was all black and the drawers were actually the same color scheme just in a high gloss. I tried to distress a test strip before I painted over the original paint and it wouldn't distress so I stripped the drawers and top. Yeah... the paint was never ending... like 5 layers so I was glad I stripped it. After some mineral spirits and a good sand they were all sprayed, heavily distressed, glazed in chocolate brown and sealed. I have had a few people asking me to look for one just like this.... such a fun perfect little piece!

Yellow Dresser SOLD

This dresser was a sweet little refinish. It would be prefect in a teenagers room. I wanted to go with yellow to match a desk (pics soon) I had just finished. Such a cute set. It was distressed, glazed and sealed. Contact info at the sidebar for more info :)
