Bedroom set

This bedroom set was super fun to refinish. I love doing stuff that people have had for a long time and want to change. It is amazing what a coat of paint will do. The colors turned out so fun. I am bummed I didn't get better pics. I forgot to take any so Hubster took some when he delivered. They really don't do justice. It is  nice to get the idea though :)

Totally bummed I didn't get a before of this desk it was super fun. The handles were the old wooden built in style. Looks so different and turquoise is always such a fun color! LOVE....

Desk and end tables SOLD

These pieces are commissioned. I have to say that stripping and staining are the harder refinishes that I get. I love the finished product but it is hard to get it where I want it. You never know with raw wood how it will take to stain. These were stripped, sanded, stained a dark walnut and sealed. The paint was the same technic I always use. I have to say I wasn't too super sad to see them go. It is always fun to send a piece on it's way looking completely different then when I received it. Countless hrs of work but worth it to have a happy customer! AND I love to free up some space in my garage because I am jam PACKED right now. Not complaining. I love what I do and it never gets old for me. So grateful to all my awesome customers!

 Let the stripping begin!
 And the sanding.....
and more stripping and more sanding.....
ANNNNND WHALLLAAAA!

the end tables were not near as time consuming....

Ivory/Bone End Table

This little end table was so cute and petite. Sorry no before pics. The top was stripped, re-stained and sealed. The legs were painted, distressed, glazed and sealed. The color is really pretty and I have done like 5 pieces in it lately I loved it so much. This table would work with any decor and color in pretty much any room. Contact at the sidebar for more info. Currently still available.

Vintage Green End Table

I love end tables. They add so much to a room. This one was so fun with those awesome legs. The top was striped and sanded. The legs were painted the burnt green, distressed, glazed and sealed. The top was then stained in a dark cherry/walnut. I love how it turned out. I need to get me some of this green furniture!!! Contact info at sidebar for more info.

LOOOOVE!

Sorry people these pieces were commissioned. I don't normally post commissioned pieces but I ended up loving these two so much I had to post them. Amazing what a little paint will do to a piece... even it it is plastic :) These pictures aren't the best they were just just taken with my phone.

This detail ended up taking a lot more time than I expected. Lots more detail popping out than the before pic :)
This one I started by stripping the tops and then i was going to paint by hand HA!! What was I thinking?? So I taped it off and went for the gun. Oh what would I do without my spray gun?! I distressed and glazed it and then sealed it.

Would it be bad to say I contemplated stealing borrowing this table?? HAHAHA
